Care and Concern Group
The Care and Concern Group identify, and (where possible) assist, members of the parish community who require assistance, particularly those who, because of ill-health, disability or general frailty, are unable to attend to their day-to-day activities.
Members:
The members of the Care and Concern Group are always anxious to obtain details of any parishioners requiring assistance. Meetings are held regularly and additional members are always welcome, particularly those who can provide transport.
Members:
- provide transport (and other assistance, as required) to enable parishioners to attend Mass and medical and other appointments;
- provide refreshments after funerals, as and when sought by bereaved families;
- arrange a Healing Mass (and associated refreshments) two or three times each year at St Michael’s.
