Celebrate the Feast of St Michael With Us

Our parish carries the name of a great protector, and this year we are setting aside a special evening to honour him. On Monday 28 September, St Michael's Dorrington will mark the Feast of St Michael the Archangel with a talk, Holy Mass, and a sausage sizzle to follow.

Everyone is welcome, and we would love for you to be there.

St Michael the Archangel has watched over this community since our parish was first established in 1952. He is the one we call on for protection, for courage, and for defence against the wickedness and snares of the devil. A feast day is a fitting moment to pause, give thanks, and ask again for his intercession over our families and our parish.

What's On

5:30pm - Talk: The importance of St Michael in our lives We begin the evening with a talk on who St Michael is and why he matters so much for each of us today. It is a chance to reflect on his role as protector and to renew our devotion to him.

6:30pm - Holy Mass We gather for Mass to celebrate the feast together as one community.

After Mass - Sausage sizzle Stay on for a friendly sausage sizzle. Share a meal, meet other parishioners, and enjoy the company. This is community life at its best.

A Note on the Mass Time

Please note the small change to our regular Monday evening Mass time. For this celebration, Mass will begin at 6:30pm rather than the usual 5:30pm, so that the talk can lead into it. Please make a note of the adjusted time.
