BIG thank you for your support towards Soldier On.
Total donation of $550 has been remitted. Thank you to everyone who came to support the Mass.
We pay tribute and give thanks to our war veterans who have built this church. As we started the commemoration of Remembrance Day, we invited everyone to light a candle for a member of the military who is or was special to you. We are grateful for their friendship and love. We remember them in a special way this morning. Youth, children and families then lay wreaths and flowers.

Since ancient times this aromatic herb has been believed to have properties to improve the memory. Perhaps because of this, rosemary became an emblem of both fidelity and remembrance. Rosemary has particular significance for Australians especially on Anzac Day and Remembrance Day.
The eucalyptus bark represents our closeness to our First People, our indigenous friends. They cut the bark to make canoes and shields. In a special way, we are truly blessed to have our aboriginal friends among us today.
