It was pleasing to see our Christmas envelopes have been used. If you’d like to make a monetary donation, please use the boxes at the back of the church or call Pat Hanson on 0417 650644. Help needed - Vinnies Christmas hampers pack & deliver We are needing help on Tuesday 18 December after 9 am Mass to assemble our Christmas hampers and deliver them to families in need. Safety Concern from the Parish Pastoral Council Regarding the Kneelers A safety concern has been raised with the Pastoral Council in relation the design and condition of the kneelers in the Church. As they need constant repair and monitoring to ensure they are safe and functional, it has been suggested that half of them be removed. This would also allow ease of movement into seats for parishioners, with less chance of injury. Feedback will be sought from Parishioners after each Mass this weekend regarding this suggested change.
Safeguarding Policy As a community we are all responsible for the safeguarding of our children and vulnerable adults. The Safeguarding policy was introduced one year ago and information and training was provided for parishioners and volunteers. We now need to review our situation to continue to comply with Archdiocese policy. Over the next few months we will be providing more information and training and asking volunteers to provide us with information to ensure we have covered everyone. Thank you for your continued support as we work towards ensuring we move forward to embed these important policies in our parish. Thank you, contact Marg or Lorna if there is anything you would like to talk about.
