Youth Evangelisation
The Year of Youth is now in full swing. This year places a special focus on young people, faith and vocational discernment, in line with the Synod of Bishops called by Pope Francis, to be held in October 2018. It will particularly celebrate young people aged 12-30.
You’ll find some Year of Youth prayer cards at the door of the Church. These were created to guide all members of the Church in Australia to pray and discern their response to the movement of the Spirit in the Year of Youth.
Read the words of Pope Francis below which have inspired the theme for the Year of Youth "OPEN NEW HORIZONS FOR SPREADING JOY: Young People, Faith & Vocational Discernment". Consider how you/your community are called to Open New Horizons for Spreading Joy.
